Today is the first Tuesday of the month and as usual, Google is rolling out the January security updates for its series of Pixel phones except for the Pixel 1 and 2 series.
We’ve still got update patches for the Pixel 5, Pixel 4a 5G, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 3, and the Pixel 3 XL, though.
You can see all the fixes along with the accompanying devices in the chart below.
As soon as the update started rolling out, many users have started reporting unusual behavior for sound specifically for Pixel 5.
The issues range from the volume of system sound (such as touch sounds) becoming too low to be audible to notification sounds of third-party apps being cut in half.
Here’s what a user has to say:
It’s like the speakers take a moment to warm up and can only play the part of a sound at first. Subsequent times playfully. My phone’s totally updated, including today’s update and it’s still happening.
As always, stay tuned to GizmoMind for further updates.
